TRAIL OUT Download For PC is a racing game developed by Good Boys and published by Crytivo. TRAIL OUT Game Download was released on 7 Sep 2022. This is the spiritual leadership of FlatOut that we always need. For context, the core team of coders and designers for this game is only 4 people. I say this not only to set expectations but also to highlight how well this team has done for its youth. Also, I helped test this game before its release, so I got it for free. This does not affect my review as I will cover both the pros and cons of this game, and for those who played the demo, I will also point out the changes that have been made since then. TRAIL OUT is a fun game. It can definitely look better than other UE4 games made by bigger developers. The game has a great presentation, with a great menu and HUD design, it feels like something we were able to get from Bugbear.

Vehicle physics is very similar to the heavy physics of the first FlatOut. However, you can still beat a lot of people around, and the shoes are a lot of fun to wear. The cars are quite compact, but they can still brake when using the handbrake. The steering can be adjusted, as can the steering response, the speed of the wheel return, and the speed of the reverse steering. The amount of destructible stuff around these maps is insane. You’ve even got some Split/Second environmental triggers, like making a donut fall from a building or bursting a sewer line. Soft body damage can actually cause the vehicle to burn. While it’s not Wreckfest levels, it’s still pretty decent for a small team like this.

These characters are all different, and they all have unique voices. They add some personality to the game and play in the career. This career mode is much more polished, with a blacklist of boss battles to progress through. It works out and is much better than Wreckfest’s career. There is a good variety of US, European, and Russian-style vehicles, making it a very diverse selection of cars for each class. Also, the Split/Second Brawler-inspired Exploder X front is a nice touch I had to mention. The courses are well designed, set in different settings, with a ton of extras and different shortcuts you can take. Some of the trails are a bit too narrow but overall very reasonable. 4 player split-screen with AI is definitely cool, especially since FlatOut split-screen was only on consoles, limited to 2 players, and no AI.
