SOR 4 is the first title in the franchise to introduce “factions”. Police and gangs will fight each other. This has never been seen before. AI: All enemies and even bosses have their own strengths and weaknesses. Only through trial and error will you find out their “attack patterns”. Nobody likes to lose, but once you fail to pass a level, it’s not over. You have something called “GAME OVER” support. The purpose of this assistance is to allow you to enjoy the game more and hopefully, you will be able to perform better than before to get past that level. So don’t punish.

It’s pretty cool that the developers created a Story mode and an Arcade mode. Arcade mode was the only way to play the old titles (you had to go through the whole game without losing your life. Losing would mean starting from scratch!), But with Story mode, you can have a more relaxing time playing the game and if you lose, you have to start again from the last stage. There is also Battle mode (it is a PvP mode) and Boss Rush mode. Battle mode is super fun! You can have up to 4 players all playing against each other.
