If the fight and the game in Slay the Spire are very fun, other aspects could benefit from much more polishing. Art is sometimes painful to watch (fire screens, in particular, need a lot more work) and I personally found that the music and sound effect are devoid of impact. Too standard and repetitive to be captivating, without a dynamic soundtrack, very few sound effects for the variety of cards provided, and themes to forget in general; I play dumb.
