You know how developers add new items even when it’s not needed. The game in the previous two installments was fast and dynamic enough. However, there is new equipment, of course. It is now possible to climb the console with the help of special boots. I think this feature was not necessary and thank God no puzzles were based on it. However, clearing the rocks is a nice new addition. We find all kinds of materials – in addition to modernizing our weapons we can make clothes. Upper and lower body parts are available, but we can also buy full body outfits. These add bonuses so that we can get dressed before a fight so we can decide if we intend to take a more furious approach or take up arms by putting on something that will give Lara health regeneration. And, naturally, we can give Lara the “old” look by applying skins from previous games (here is a purely cosmetic choice).

Apart from these small changes or additional game mechanics, they remain the same. I liked the inclusion of air pockets during the underwater sequences that made it possible to increase the time spent in such areas. Once again Lara can decipher various monuments (her language skills gradually increase) and there are a lot of relics and letters to be found there. You will return to the previous locations using the camp system several times just to get that 100% completion. The graphics seem to be improving once again; I can’t comment on the latest RTX technology, but everything else looked amazing as usual.
