Pumpkin Days Free Download is a farming simulation game developed and published by Pumpkin Interactive. It was released on 2 Feb 2021. The game was developed and currently has a team of only two people. That’s correct, two people. What this game brings to the table is a lot. You have the opportunity to start a new agricultural life in one of the three cities (the third will be available at the end of June). The customization of the characters is very extensive. The best thing about this game is that it is not binary. That means you don’t have to choose gender, you design how your character will look, and that’s it.
Apart from designing your character, you can also design your home extensively. There are improvements to make it more spacious AND hundreds of different things you can put in it. Furniture, wall hangings, plush products, wallpaper, flooring, you can even personalize the exterior of your home. Besides taking time to personalize your living space, there are many other things you can do. There are so many things you need to do to prioritize what you want to do each day.

This is a farming sim, of course, and it has some common elements to all of them. You plant crops, care for them, and sell them. You upgrade your farm and buy sheep, cows, and chickens to be able to sell their by-products and become a millionaire. There is also an element of friendship/romance in the game to keep you interested in the townspeople.

The graphics are good. It’s not the best I’ve seen, but it’s definitely better than many games. The music is varied, with several different tunes for different seasons, times of the day, and whether or not it rains in your area. The thing that attracts me the most about the game is the EXPLORATION element. The developers have created a vast and wonderful island with regions ranging from tropical (Wahoo Beach) to sub-arctic (Diamond Falls) to temperate (Pumpkinvale), and each region has its own culture. You can choose to live in an Asian-style community, a Spanish-style community, or a tropical beach community (it’s hard to put my finger on the culture there, except there are some Indian characters, some island characters, and some guys who are very interested in surfing:-D). In the meantime, you are tasked with filling the new museum with displays of flowers, gems, insects, and ancient artifacts that you discover as you traverse the island.
