I was also inspired by the early Resident Evil titles, but I wanted to push myself to make it feel like the first person to style an early RE title.
What I mean by this is to shoot the zombies to kill them (which can be hard to do without a fixed target!), and keep the zombies slow and vulnerable. Most games seem to go through the mobs with fast zombies, but I wanted to keep this a tense, deliberate combat experience. – Jordan King You will play as David, a quiet man whose wife recently passed away, and who lives alone in his apartment by the sea with nothing to lose when a zombie outbreak sweeps through his town and his daily life normally fails.
After gathering his thoughts, collecting some weapons, and meeting with survivors, David realizes that he must make his way to the truth behind the apocalypse by shooting and slashing hordes of zombies. Escape the city by solving puzzles to open new areas, while collecting resources and fighting zombies, which can only be killed with a direct shot to the head.
