Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Game Download was released on 9 Jan 2014. It’s a third-person hack-slash action game with some epic boss battles. Play as Raiden, who is a hybrid ninja / human cyborg. The story begins with Raiden working on security details for the president of an African country, they are attacked by Desperado (a private military company) and their leader Sundowner kills President N’mani. You fight with many bosses. I will avoid spoilers by giving the details of the story here. The gameplay of this game is amazing and one of the best hack-and-slash games I have ever played. Raiden has a base blade that he uses to cut down enemies, later in the game you get extra weapons and even a new blade near the end of the game. Raiden can use light and heavy attacks by clicking left and right, respectively. You can create a lot of combos using these attack combinations and you can even unlock new moves with the game currency.

There is a Parry move that can be used to block almost every attack in the game. You need to hit the direction of the enemy and the attack button lightly at the same time in order to successfully launch an enemy attack. When an enemy attacks you, it will have a red light to go out in your eyes and this is your chance to appear. Good practice in defense is your key to winning this game, otherwise, some of the bosses will make you angry. Successfully stopping an attack will block the enemy’s attack, and an electric current can be seen as a visual confirmation of a successful parry. When you have almost killed an enemy, you can also enter blade mode and try to hit the red box that will draw attention to the enemy, when you hit the box successfully, Raiden will snatch the enemy’s heart and smash it with his bare hands, it will refill both the fuel cell energy bar and the health bar. When you have almost killed an enemy, you may also receive a request in Japanese to attack in blade mode or a series of quick event moves.

Lots of boss fights will also use QTEs. When you fight enemies, you gain battle points that can be spent later on new weapons, health, fuel cell upgrades, and new moves. Also, new suits can be bought, some of them have different characteristics, such as one of the suits may have Raiden wearing more grenades, etc. Later, Raiden gains “Jack the Ripper” mode, which can be activated using the R key. When in Ripper mode, Raiden will start to glow red, his attacks will do much more damage you can easily kill even super Cyborg mechs with a few blows. There’s also a Nano paste track, which is basically a supplement that will replenish your health once the whole bar is exhausted. Having a few of these before the boss fights can also be very helpful. Raiden’s health upgrades can reach up to 150%, and fuel cell upgrades can add four extra small minibars.

The weapons/recovery menu could have used an upgrade, as it is somewhat limited. Every time you want to change a weapon, you have to go through this weapons menu. This is not very annoying for your health or for your main weapon, but it can be annoying if you change your secondary weapons a lot. Even though PCs have enough buttons to assign each weapon its own button, they still decided to use this version of the console menu, which is quite painful to use.
