It’s an RPG-Maker game and I know that many of these seem to be someone’s first attempt to create their own game by following YouTube tutorials. But it was fun. It offers some neat customization options. You can choose the look of your character from over 20 options. Then you choose your “job class” from more than a dozen options and this will determine your skills and the magic and equipment you can use.
Each of these will completely change your fighting style, leading to a certain rendering of this game if you are the type of person who likes to try different classes of characters. The story is simple but interesting (for the best experience, I recommend you play the prologue when the game gives you this option). The fight is not always easy, but it is very well balanced and never feels like a grind. It is a turn-based battle, in which the rotational speed of each character is determined by their agility status. The main story and the progress of the game, in general, are quite well-paced, and the levels come naturally as you go.
Secondary missions are VERY optional. There is an arena, a casino, and an adventurous guild where you can take part in various activities to win decent rewards. (The rewards of the adventurer’s guild are, however, VERY expensive.) There is a crafting system in which you can build the best weapon in the game, as well as some beautiful rings, a bunch of globes that will increase the properties of your weapons and armor, and some very useful consumables.
