Cloudpunk Download For PC is an action game developed and published by ION LANDS. Cloudpunk Game Download was released on 23 Apr 2020. The moment you start playing Cloudpunk, you’ll be transported into a new world – one of the roads of heaven, airplanes, and islands of houses and shops – covered in multicolored neon lights and dimmed by Brobdingnagian skyscrapers. As you explore further afield, you’ll see the other side of this metropolis – more visually impaired neighborhoods, underground shelters, and deserted land – juxtaposing the city’s stunning downtown. Welcome to Nivalis, which is said to be the last city in the world. You play Rania, who has just moved to Nivalis from the Eastern Peninsula farming community. She took a job as a delivery person for a free courier company called Cloudpunk. She kept a secret about why she moved at first, but as you play the game, you’ll find out why she left her home. Cloudpunk is an open-world game with a story about fish out of the water, which makes you discover the history, secrets, and ways of an unknown city. Because Rania is that “fish” herself, it’s very easy for you to relate to her naivete.

Cloudpunk’s star is his environment, whose design is simply top-notch. The aesthetic was clearly inspired by Blade Runner and The Fifth Element. Not surprisingly, Nivalis feels like a cyberpunk image in Hong Kong and Tokyo, with a touch of New York here and there. For this reason, the futuristic landscape of the game looks authentic, despite the fact that the game’s graphics are mainly based on voxel. Wonderful effects of rain, fog, lighting, and cloud added to the atmosphere. The city of Nivalis is huge, with stunning architecture and grand city design. By the end of the game, after about 15 hours of exploration and deliveries, I still don’t have a complete understanding of what the city looked like. With the width, the high towers, and the bottomless depths, I felt swallowed by the immensity of Nivalis. I felt that way, whether I was playing the gameplay from a fixed-person third-person perspective or a recently added first-person perspective.

As I explored the city on foot, I often looked out of the windows of buildings and wondered what life was like for the citizens. Nivalis is very crowded, but you will feel lonely considering how you have not yet made new, bodily friends. The size of the city also made me feel small and insignificant. These feelings were partly due to the fact that I managed to walk through a sea of people and that vehicles often hit me throughout the game. Although I am sure that these cases were simply due to the limitations of the game engine, in fact, their experimentation seemed somewhat symbolic. Cloudpunk’s story simply propels you to explore Nivalis with hovercraft and on foot. Between deliveries, you can see the sights and complete many side quests. You will learn about Nivalis when you talk to its inhabitants – rich and poor, privileged and disadvantaged, motivated and disillusioned, people and robots – and you will listen to their stories. Cloudpunk simply invites you and immerses you in Nivalis, making you learn about its glories and troubles while in it, instead of reading about it as in many adventure games and RPGs.

The cyberpunk genre is ready to explore topics such as humanism, relationships with machines and social structures, and decay. However, the game barely scratches them to the surface, but instead makes you make binary judgments about these complex topics. Your decisions seldom, if any, have any effect on how the story unfolds. I think this is a missed opportunity to do something careful and impactful, especially when this story of a fish out of water is ideal for our protagonist to face complicated problems that she is unlikely to face in her hometown. Moreover, these problems rarely have binary solutions, but rather require multi-faceted answers. Throughout the game, I was not clear about my ultimate goal. Later, after learning that Rania had to pay off a debt, I thought I would have to save some money.
But how? I didn’t know, so I didn’t spend my money on anything unless I was trained or needed as part of my secondary assignments. Then I found out that Rania had other goals, including buying a corpse for her dog AI. Should I save for that too? The real goal of the game was revealed quite late and suddenly. Traders, drug dealers, and food vendors are located in Nivalis. While their presence certainly makes the city feel more inhabited, the inclusion of drug traffickers is very puzzling. There was only one case in the game where I had to buy narcotics, and Rania never had to use drugs to do her job.
