This is a game that is supposed to be one of those games that are purposely hard purely to make you rage but it actually has something that those other games don’t: good mechanics. Every other game is sluggish on purpose, janky on purpose, unresponsive on purpose, unfair on purpose, and buggy on purpose. But in this game, your character will stick the landing and not slide off a platform after landing, move where you want him to move, respond to your movement inputs, and go in the direction you want. The only few things that actually make this game difficult is the ragdoll mechanic; sometimes you will ragdoll when nothing even hits you.
Or sometimes if you’re trying to make minute movements, your character will suddenly go kick in the turbos and scoot off whatever platform you were on. The chicken “power-up” is pointless and sometimes when you transform into the chicken you will suddenly spawn off whatever platform you were on. Sometimes it isn’t clear where you’re supposed to go to continue on so most of your deaths are trial and error of pathfinding. Where you aim your chicken isn’t where they go, so the enemy knights can kill you easily even though you threw 20+ chickens right at them, also frustrating when trying to nail those crucial save balloons. But if take your time and plot your next move then this game is actually pretty easy.
