Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition Download For PC is a strategy game developed by Forgotten Empires and published by Xbox Game Studios. AOE 3 DE Game Download was released on 15 Oct 2020. Obviously, everything feels and plays the same as the original, with a few minor and major changes here and there. First of all, the pack books are no longer unlockable with progression – which is a major disappointment for me. All cards are available for pickup right from the start. This should help new players to quickly understand things, but as a long-term player – this is unacceptable. Yes, you don’t have to play and grind for weeks just to unlock that special card you need to complete your perfect rush or no-rush package. It’s kind of like the original Age of Empires 3 experience. In the original version, you had to make your way to the top by learning the game and progressing through it. It seems that developers are afraid of being attacked by snowflake players these days. Nobody wants a challenge anymore.

There is no better feeling in the world than the feeling of defeating a better player with a lower set of packages, this is really something I liked in the original. We still can’t select more than 50 units at a time – not that it would be necessary, but … it would definitely be a welcome addition. The fact that upgrading my hometown is useless now really takes away my interest in spending my time cultivating those levels. Unfortunately, it seems that I expected too many things to remain intact for the final edition. But not everything is bad and negative, only I would have liked it to look more like the original release. Although everything feels almost the same at first, as soon as you find that different thing, you will start to compare things with the original and then get out of control.

Definitive Edition is currently an improved and generally better version of the original, but at the end of the day, I wish I had kept some of the things mentioned above intact. However, one thing that has not received any love is the script editor. The script editor was among my favorite things in the original game and simply leaving it as it was is simply not correct while I completely redesigned the rest of the game.

Single-player campaigns are scenario missions in which you have to build your colony from scratch, gather things around the map and fight and destroy a certain enemy. It’s fun, and the campaign part is what I like most about Age of Empires 3. You’ll have a lot of fun if you like to experiment or just mess with AI. In terms of product value, I must say that AoE3 offers you the most for your money of all three final editions. There are also additional game modes that were not available in the original version, but this is something you will have to see for yourself.
